Install Electric Car Charges in Broward County

When it comes to electric car charger installation, there are two main types of chargers: level 1 and level 2. Level 1 chargers are the most basic and are typically included with the vehicle. These chargers can be plugged into a standard 120-volt outlet and provide a slow, steady charge to the vehicle’s battery. Level 2 chargers, on the other hand, require a dedicated 240-volt outlet and can provide a much faster charge.

To install a level 2 charger, electricians will need to first determine the location where the charger will be installed. This should be a location that is easily accessible to the vehicle, such as a garage or carport. The electrician will then need to determine the appropriate circuit breaker and wiring necessary to support the charger. This will typically require upgrading the existing electrical panel and installing a dedicated circuit for the charger.

My rating is a bit overdue but certainly not forgotten. What a blessing to find a company that does what they are supposed to do. Allsite Electric, LLC was great. They came in, went to work, gave honest and comfortable prices for the many areas of work. They even cleaned the work areas when they where done. I will gladly use them and refer them to anyone who needs an Electrician. Thank you again!

Have used Allsite Electric for several ceiling fan and light fixture installations but recently had them replace the main panel meter block after FPL broke our original one. From securing permits to scheduling FPL and City Inspection, Patrickson and his folks did a fantastic job as always. Highly recommended!!

I had requested 5 electric companies/contractors for a proposal to have a stand alone generator installed. It was like pulling teeth to get the them to respond or even come on site to inspect my property. Patrick at Allsite was very responsive and answered all of my questions via text. He gave me an over the phone estimate that was a little less than his competitors. He then scheduled an onsite inspection and submitted a proposal that again was a little less than his competitors. I had decided not to go forward with having a generator installed but if I did or if I change my mind, I will definitely hire Allsite.

This is a professional and honest company. Patrick, with whom we dealt, was knowledgeable and reliable. The subcontractors that were sent to do some of the details, worked hard too and seemed to want to do a good job. The generator had to be ordered so it took a bit to get started, but we had been warned that this might happen. We had an excellent experience and would hire and recommend this company. It would be nice if all contracted services met their standards. It is refreshing to deal with an ethical company that delivers what is promised.

Punctual, professional, and trust-worthy. I never hired an electrician before as I'm a new homeowner. They really guided me through the process and if I need one again they'll be the first I call.

I called them because all of the outlets in my bathrooms on both floors stopped working about a week ago. I just called now, on a Sunday, expecting to spent a few hundred dollars on an electrician to come out on the weekend. The exact opposite happened!!! They walked me through how to fix reset my breaker and how to properly test if it worked. All free of charge and incredibly polite. I recommend them to anyone! 5 stars isn't enough!

Electric Car Charger Installation In Broward County, Florida

If you are considering installing an electric car charger at your home or workplace, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, it is important to make sure that your electrical system can handle the additional load that an electric car charger will put on it. This typically means that you will need to have a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician.

Once you have determined that your electrical system is up to the task, you will need to choose the right type of charger for your needs. There are two main types of chargers available: Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 chargers are the most basic, and they use a standard 120-volt outlet to charge your vehicle. Level 2 chargers are more powerful, and they require a 240-volt outlet to operate. Level 2 chargers are generally able to charge a vehicle more quickly than a Level 1 charger, so they are a good choice if you need to charge your vehicle quickly.

Once you have chosen the type of charger that you want to install, you will need to have it installed by a licensed electrician. The electrician will ensure that the charger is properly installed and that it is safe to use. They will also help you understand how to use the charger and answer any questions you may have.

Overall, installing an electric car charger at your home or workplace can be a convenient and cost-effective way to charge your electric vehicle. It is important to make sure that your electrical system can handle the additional load and to have the charger installed by a licensed electrician to ensure that it is done safely and correctly.
